After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to Changu Lake (12,400 ft.) and New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), located approximately 55 km from Gangtok. Nestled along the Gangtok-Nathu La Highway, Changu Lake is a stunning oval-shaped glacial lake with a depth of 15 meters, revered by locals as sacred. Home to Brahminy ducks, its calm, crystal-clear waters beautifully blend with the surrounding landscapes. During winter, the lake remains frozen until mid-May, adding to its enchanting charm.

For those seeking an extended adventure, Nathu La Pass, which connects India to the Republic of China, is just 20 km further. Prior permission is required, and an additional cost applies for this optional tour.

In the evening, enjoy leisure time exploring M.G. Road (Mall Road) and indulge in local shopping in Gangtok.
